First flight at new Islamabad International Airport on Tuesday – Daily Pakistan


ISLAMABAD – The long-awaited New Islamabad Worldwide Airport is ready to be formally inaugurated on Tuesday (tomorrow) by Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi.

In response to Civil Aviation Authority, first, an incoming flight (PK-300) of Pakistan Worldwide Airways (PIA) from Karachi will land on the new airport at 11 am the identical day, whereas first flight of the nationwide airline will depart for Karachi at 12.30 pm.

The whole operation will start from Thursday.

In the meantime, the Minister for Inside, Planning and Improvement & Reform Ahsan Iqbal accompanied by the Director Basic Federal Investigation Company (FIA), Secretary Aviation and different officers visited the New Islamabad Worldwide Airport on Monday and reviewed amenities being offered to the passengers.

The inside minister directed the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) to offer absolute best amenities to the passengers.

Speaking to media, Ahsan Iqbal stated that the brand new airport was a sufferer of lack of course and planning. He stated that in 5 years now we have labored onerous with allied ministries & departments in not solely actualizing however successfully finishing this undertaking.
