MADRID – The Spanish authorities unveiled the property of greater than a thousand high-level officers together with 38 present and former ministers on Saturday in a bid to extend transparency within the authorities.
The checklist, printed within the official gazette, included three millionaire ministers within the Spanish cupboard.
Topping the checklist was the international minister Josep Borrell, who declared wealth of €2.77 million ($three.22 million). He was adopted by the schooling minister and authorities spokeswoman, Isabel Celaa with a reported wealth of €1.62 million.
María Isabel Celaa, Minister of Schooling and Vocational Coaching mentioned this authorities is basically shifting ahead on the trail of transparency, which it believes is the one method to advance in democracy.
One other millionaire minister on the checklist was former astronaut and science minister Pedro Duque with about €1.5 million in property. Duque is accused of not paying some taxes on his two houses.
The ministers have denied wrongdoings.
